There are some basic rules u must consider to engange those tiers.

This is not a secret for experimented pilots but i will share my thoughts and experiences:

1st.- You may fit Proton III missels

2nd.- You may fit counter measures too.

3rd.- Don't let the dogs to get your back.

4rd.- Don't waste your capacitor energy.

BUT what to do if you are out of Missles and CM? lol

Well, Tier 6 to 10 are good with missels and their missels can destroy you just in 1 hit.

I have experimented those tiers in my heavy and Here you have the tiers effects on my Heavy Xwing (Shields HP 2665 rec 17.8 Armor HP 2035):

Tier 6 fly in groups of 3 fighters. Their missels are not strong but 2 or 3 of them are extremelly dangerous.

Tier 7 missels destroy the shield with 1 missel and can damage the armor too

Tier 8 missels destroy the shields and about 50% of armor

Tier 9 and 10 missels are just a one hit destruction monster lol

2. T6 - T10 Weak side

They can only fire you from your six and from you twelve.

THE BEST DEFENSE AGAINST A MISSILE ATTACK IS: avoid them to fire missels. CM are just the last defense. To do so: Just KEEP AN EYE TO YOUR RADAR. if you see any Red icon in front or in your back you only have a few seconds to turn and avoid a missel attack.

If you have a dog in your back, forget your current objetive and engange the tier coming from your back, you will kill your current objetive later. Repeat the tactical movement till you destroy all your objetives. I recommend a max time for firing objetives: This is about 10 seconds.

3. OPTIMIZING YOUR CAPACITOR ENERGY

It is easy: If you fire your weapons without sense, Tier 7 and up will easily eat your cap energy. To avoid that, use this secuence:

I suggest you to try it. Your capacitor will work much more better. Try it.

Well this is working fine at the moment. It is not an easy tactic, and it takes some time for learning and practicing the whole details, but it is better than being destroyed in one hit, right?
