When you arrive the game you are at the Tansari Station and you are just a level 1.

You really don't have much of an option of where to level. You're on a Space Station, known as Tansarii Point Station.

You can choose to leave this station, and end up on Tatooine, before you reach level 10, where you stop getting Experience until you do so, or you can grind and try the quests on the stations for Experience and Rewards.

You will not be alowed to land on Tatooine till you reach level 10. You may try all the missions on the Tansarii Point Station to obtain XP, some momeny and some interesting rewards before to land.

Once you are level ten, go to Han Solo and speak with him. If you have helped him repair his ship, you can leave. If not, you should do it, otherwise you are stuck on the Station until you do.

Once you talk to him, tell him you wish to leave. He will fly you to Mos Eisley, the heart of Tatooine, full of Credit Spammers and Regular Spammers!, some people trying to buy your ATRT for cheap. Mos Eisley is a dangerous place for a newbie. Welcome to Star Wars Galaxies!
